Independent research
Software will be researched independently. We will distinguish verified facts, hands-on observations and editorial judgement.
Commercial relationships
Affiliate relationships will not determine editorial conclusions. Sponsored placements must be visibly disclosed and kept separate from independent editorial work.
Review and corrections
Information will be reviewed periodically as products change. Readers and software makers can submit corrections for consideration.
Testing claims
We will only say a product was tested when meaningful testing actually took place, and will explain the scope when relevant.
